compulsion of police verification for Ration card, cancelled!

The state Food Minister, Mr. Sunil Tatkare, cancelled the compulsion of police verification for getting Ration Card. In a meeting at Mantralaya, arranged by the initiative of Ulhasnagar MLA Shree Pappu Kalani, Raj Asrondkar, President of Kaydyane Waga, concinced Mr.Tatkare, that RC is not a document of residencial proof. It is given only for rationing pupose. Demanding it as a proof is mistake of government machinary. Every indian has right to get ration card easily. There will be no problem if RC is used only for rationing purpose! Minister agreed and ordered officers to cancelled the veryfication.

UMC took action against illegal hordings!

Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation has started strict action against illegal hordings throughout the city. Raj Asrondkar, The Central President of Kaydyane Waga, complained UMC commissioner about the illegal activities. In his strong complaint Mr.Asrondkar stated that hordings installed illegaly are not only the problem of deformation of city, but it also caused to quarrels between political activists. Thane, Dhule and Nashik cities are still burning internally due to riots followed by such small quarrels. Asrondkar stated that even the statues of National figures are also enchroched

15 full day notice required to disconnect electri supply

Electric supplier company's employee come at our home with cutter in their hand for bill recovery. They threaten us, supply will be disconnected if the bill is not paid on time. But, this not a lawfull job. As per Maharashtra electric regulatery commission rules and regulations,2005 section 15.2.5 to disconnect our electric supply, due to failure of bill payment or for any other reason, company should give us 15 full day written notice. The important thing is that the notice is not a part of bill.It should be sent separatly.

Ration card to a lonely women

There are special directives of maharashtra government for lonely women to get ration card. It is always seen that when a widow, divorced, or any other lonely woman apply for ration card, department obviously ask for name deletion receipt from the Sasuraal side. The woman can not manage it because of non-cooperation of Sasuraal. But in fact it is not neccesary for that woman to come with name deletion receipt. Department should issue the ration card immidiately as soon as possible. The process of name deletion of that woman has to be done by department itself.

GR about Ration Card is not a compulsary document of residence

Ration card is demanded at every government office. If you do not have ration card, officer say 'No' to your job. But, how many people know, that no government officer can force you to produce ration card. It is totally depends upon you to produce or not. If you do not have RC, it can be replaced by any residential proof you have. On the back side of Name-Address page of RC, it is printed that this ration card is for rationing purpose only, not for any evidence!!!
In its GR of Food Ministry, No. Sankirna-1897/1964/pra.kra.8065/na.pu.28,Dated: 21 Nov,1998, Maharashtra Govt has strictly prohibited various Govt. Offices from demanding Ration Card as a residential proof. Govt has clearly mentioned in its GR that Ration Card is not a concrete proof of residence. Govt Officer who rely on it is self responsible for further circumstances.

what is "kaydyane waga''?

Kaydyane Waga is a movement against corruption. The term means Be Lawful ! It expects that our behaviour should be lawful. One should believe in Law and Order. There is a corrupt system all over India. Indians now almost has accepted it. corruption has become part of our life. When it goes beyond our capability, then only we start to talk against it. Kaydyane Waga appeal common people to act as law says and force system to act same. It is slow going process to end corrupt system. What one has to do is only insist to solve any problem within the frame of law, rules, regulations, ordinance or court orders etc. In the beginning it will be painful, but with habitual, it will be sure Lawful !!!
