The state Food Minister, Mr. Sunil Tatkare, cancelled the compulsion of police verification for getting Ration Card. In a meeting at Mantralaya, arranged by the initiative of Ulhasnagar MLA Shree Pappu Kalani, Raj Asrondkar, President of Kaydyane Waga, concinced Mr.Tatkare, that RC is not a document of residencial proof. It is given only for rationing pupose. Demanding it as a proof is mistake of government machinary. Every indian has right to get ration card easily. There will be no problem if RC is used only for rationing purpose!
